What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Learningrx's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisee is responsible for the personal travel, accommodation, and other costs of their employees while attending training. This applies to both the initial training program and any ongoing training or conferences required by Learningrx.
Specifically, Learningrx requires the franchisee and a center director to complete the initial training program, which lasts approximately 40 hours over five days. This training covers various aspects of operating the center, including techniques, procedures, hiring, customer service, and sales. Additionally, initial training includes two to four days of staff training at the franchise location after the franchisee completes the classroom portion.
Furthermore, Learningrx requires at least one person from each center to attend annual conferences. The franchisee must pay a conference fee per person and cover all travel and living expenses for themselves and their employees attending the conference. These conferences cover industry changes, sales techniques, personnel training, and other operational topics. Learningrx also reserves the right to require franchisees and their employees to attend additional training if they fail to meet performance standards or maintain required certifications.
