Who is responsible for the expenses associated with relocating a Learningrx Center?

According to Learningrx's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisee is solely responsible for all expenses incurred when relocating a Learningrx center. The FDD specifies that any relocation of the Learningrx center will be at the franchisee's sole expense.

While Learningrx must approve any relocation request, the approval process considers factors like population density, income levels, location guidelines, proximity to other Learningrx centers, and the time required for relocation. The franchisee is responsible for site selection and lease provisions outlined in the Franchise Agreement and Operations Manual.

It is important to note that Learningrx charges a Relocation Fee for subsequent relocation requests. The first relocation request within the Initial Term or any Successor Term is free. However, the second relocation incurs a $250 fee, and the third relocation costs $500. This fee structure incentivizes franchisees to carefully consider their location and minimize the need for multiple relocations, as each move involves direct costs borne entirely by the franchisee.
