What This Means (2025 FDD)
Based on the 2025 Learningrx Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisee is responsible for the expenses associated with relocating their center. Specifically, if a Learningrx franchisee chooses to relocate their center, they must cover all associated costs.
According to the FDD, a Learningrx franchisee may also be required to pay a relocation fee to Learningrx. The relocation fee is $250 for the second relocation request within the initial or any subsequent term. The relocation fee increases to $500 for the third relocation request within the initial or any subsequent term.
While the FDD excerpt specifies that the franchisee bears the expense of relocation, it does not explicitly address who is responsible for the costs of general remodeling or upgrades to the Learningrx center at the current location. A prospective franchisee should clarify with Learningrx whether franchisees are required to periodically remodel or upgrade their centers to meet new brand standards, and if so, who bears those costs.
