What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Learningrx's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Learningrx offers ongoing support to franchisees in several key areas. Specifically, Learningrx will provide initial and ongoing training and assistance as it deems appropriate. This training occurs prior to the opening of the center and the initial training program is held at Learningrx's corporate headquarters or another designated location. The training is provided to the franchisee, a designated manager, and up to two additional employees. However, Learningrx retains the right to provide any portion, or the entirety, of the initial training program virtually.
In addition to training, Learningrx offers site selection assistance. While the franchisee is responsible for finding a location and negotiating the lease, Learningrx will provide advice and assistance upon request. This includes analyzing the location based on factors like population density, traffic patterns, and proximity to other Learningrx centers. Learningrx has the right to reject a proposed location, but this consent will not be unreasonably withheld. If the franchisee and Learningrx disagree on the site, the franchisee must propose two alternative sites for evaluation.
Learningrx also provides ongoing assistance regarding equipment, inventory, advertising, and services. Learningrx will specify or approve certain equipment, inventory, and supplies used in the business. They may also negotiate marketing programs with suppliers and obtain advertising allowances or rebates, which they can use at their discretion, provided the prices for equipment, inventory, and supplies are commercially reasonable for the franchisee. Furthermore, Learningrx requires franchisees to adhere to data protection and privacy laws, offering support to ensure compliance with these regulations.
