What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Learningrx's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to engage in local advertising to promote their franchise. The minimum spending requirement is the greater of $2,000 for a Micro Franchise and $3,000 for a Standard Franchise, or 5% of Gross Revenues per month. All of this local advertising money must be paid to independent third parties.

Failure to meet the local advertising spending requirements can have significant consequences for a Learningrx franchisee. According to the FDD, Learningrx has the sole discretion to reduce or eliminate a franchisee's territory or even terminate the Franchise Agreement if the franchisee does not meet the local advertising spending requirements.

This requirement underscores the importance Learningrx places on local marketing efforts for driving business. Prospective franchisees should carefully consider these advertising obligations and ensure they have a solid marketing plan and sufficient capital to meet these requirements. They should also discuss with Learningrx what specific metrics or reporting they use to evaluate compliance with the local advertising requirements.
