What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Learningrx's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Learningrx reserves the right to change the required technology, computer information processing and communication systems franchisees are required to use. Learningrx also reserves the right to increase, reduce, or otherwise adjust Technology Fees in its sole discretion. However, Learningrx will provide reasonable notice to the franchisee before making such changes or adjustments.

The term "reasonable notice" is subjective and not specifically defined in the FDD. This means that the amount of advance warning can vary. It is important for prospective franchisees to understand that Learningrx has the flexibility to modify technology requirements and fees, which could impact a franchisee's operational costs and systems.

While the FDD does not specify the exact duration of 'reasonable notice,' it is a common practice in franchising to provide sufficient time for franchisees to adapt to new systems or fee structures. This allows franchisees to budget accordingly and minimize disruptions to their business. A prospective franchisee should clarify with Learningrx what constitutes 'reasonable notice' in practice, to better understand the potential impact of technology changes or fee adjustments on their business.
