How long does Learningrx take to approve or disapprove a proposed supplier?

Learningrx Franchise · 2025 FDD

Answer from 2025 FDD Document

If you would like to purchase items from another supplier, you may request our "Supplier Approval Criteria and Request Form." At no cost to you, upon receipt of the Supplier Approval Criteria and Request Form, we will study the proposed product or service, and within 30 days approve or disapprove the proposed supplier. We base our approval on a number of factors including vendor reputation, quality of products, delivery performance, and credit rating. However, we reserve the right to determine, in our sole discretion, whether the materials meet our standards and specifications. If you do not receive an approval within 30 days, your request will be deemed disapproved.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Learningrx's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if a franchisee wants to purchase items from a supplier that is not already approved, they can request a "Supplier Approval Criteria and Request Form." Learningrx will then study the proposed product or service and, at no cost to the franchisee, will approve or disapprove the proposed supplier within 30 days of receiving the request form.

Learningrx bases its approval on factors such as vendor reputation, product quality, delivery performance, and credit rating. However, Learningrx retains the right to determine whether the materials meet their standards and specifications at their sole discretion.

It is important to note that if a franchisee does not receive approval within the 30-day timeframe, the request is automatically deemed disapproved. This aspect highlights the importance of submitting complete and accurate information in the supplier approval request to ensure timely processing. This process is fairly standard in franchising, as franchisors need to ensure quality and consistency across all franchise locations.
