What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Learningrx's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, initial training, excluding on-the-job training, is primarily held at the corporate headquarters in Colorado Springs, Colorado, or at another designated location. These training sessions are conducted monthly. However, Learningrx retains the right to conduct any or all training virtually at their discretion.
The initial training program is mandatory for both the franchisee and their designated manager, and it must be completed to Learningrx's satisfaction within 10 to 12 weeks of signing the Franchise Agreement. Successful completion of this training is a prerequisite for opening a Learningrx location. If the initial training is not completed successfully, the franchisee will be required to repeat the training under the same terms, incurring travel and living expenses.
The cost of the initial training is covered by the Initial Training and Materials Fee for up to four people; however, franchisees are responsible for covering the travel and living expenses for themselves, their designated manager, and any employees attending the training. Additionally, the FDD specifies that some training for ReadRx, ComprehendRx, and MathRx Procedures will be held in Colorado Springs, Colorado and online via LearningRx University.
In addition to the main training, Learningrx also provides two to three days of on-the-job initial training at the franchisee's center, along with assistance for opening activities within the first three months of operation, at no additional cost. Franchisees should note that Learningrx also holds periodic regional or national conferences, which require attendance by at least one person per center, with associated conference fees and travel expenses.
