What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Learningrx's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the initial franchise fee for a Micro Franchise is $30,000. A Learningrx Micro Franchise is defined as a territory with less than 100,000 people. This fee is paid when the Franchise Agreement is signed.

The FDD specifies that the Initial Franchise Fee is fully earned by Learningrx upon signing the Franchise Agreement. This means that the franchisee will not receive a refund of the Initial Franchise Fee under any circumstances. This is a standard practice in franchising, as the fee compensates the franchisor for granting the franchise rights and providing initial support.

In addition to the Initial Franchise Fee, the franchisee must also pay an Initial Training and Materials Fee of $10,000 at the time of signing the Franchise Agreement. This fee is also non-refundable. Furthermore, Learningrx requires a payment between $2,000 and $3,000 for opening inventory of student/trainer kits and workbooks, with ongoing purchases required thereafter.

Prospective Learningrx franchisees should carefully consider these initial fees and the non-refundable nature of the Initial Franchise Fee and Initial Training and Materials Fee when evaluating the franchise opportunity. It is important to conduct thorough due diligence and ensure sufficient capital is available to cover these costs, as well as other start-up expenses such as the Initial Marketing Campaign, which ranges from $15,000 to $30,000.
