What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Learningrx's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if the design plans for your Learningrx center meet their standards and specifications, Learningrx will approve them. After approval, construction or remodeling should begin as soon as possible after signing the Franchise Agreement, but no later than 6 months after signing. Learningrx will assist in the development and planning of any construction or remodeling with respect to sign specification and colors and Center layout and design upon request.
The FDD states that the franchisee is responsible for paying for construction or remodeling and all other costs associated with compliance and permits. Learningrx clarifies that their approval means that the site and plans meet minimum specifications. The franchisee is also responsible for purchasing certain marketing materials, equipment, services, supplies, opening inventory, and materials used to operate the franchise from Learningrx's approved or designated suppliers.
Prospective Learningrx franchisees should note that while Learningrx offers assistance with site selection and design, the ultimate responsibility for these aspects rests with the franchisee. Franchisees must ensure they have sufficient capital to cover construction, remodeling, and the purchase of necessary materials and equipment. Additionally, franchisees should carefully review the Operations Manual and adhere to Learningrx's standards and specifications to ensure compliance and avoid delays in opening their center.
