What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Learningrx's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must comply with all applicable laws, ordinances, and regulations related to the care and safety of children. This obligation is part of a broader requirement to adhere to all laws affecting the operation of their Learningrx business.
This means a Learningrx franchisee must stay informed about and abide by any legal requirements concerning child safety in their specific location. This could include background checks for employees, safety protocols within the center, and adherence to specific staff-to-child ratios. Failing to meet these requirements could lead to legal repercussions and potential termination of the franchise agreement.
Furthermore, the Learningrx franchisee is responsible for obtaining all necessary permits, licenses, and certifications required to operate the business, including those related to professional and licensed personnel. The FDD specifies that failure to obtain these within six months of signing the agreement could result in termination by Learningrx. This underscores the importance of understanding and meeting all local regulations concerning the care and safety of children from the outset.
