What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Learningrx's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to conduct background checks on all employees. The FDD specifies that these background checks must be completed in accordance with the specifications outlined in the Learningrx Operations Manual.

This requirement ensures that Learningrx franchisees maintain a standard of safety and security within their centers. By adhering to the background check specifications in the Operations Manual, franchisees can mitigate potential risks associated with employees who may have a history that could compromise the well-being of students or the integrity of the Learningrx brand.

Beyond the background check requirement, Learningrx does not mandate any other specific employment agreements between the franchisee and their employees. This allows franchisees some flexibility in structuring their employment terms, provided they comply with all applicable laws and regulations. However, franchisees should consult with legal counsel to ensure their employment practices align with federal, state, and local laws.
