What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Learningrx's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee must receive permission from Learningrx before relocating their center. Learningrx has the right to approve or deny a relocation request for any reason. The approval process will consider factors such as population density, income levels, general location guidelines, the proximity of the proposed site to other Learningrx centers, and the time it will take to relocate the center.

Relocating a Learningrx center will be at the franchisee's sole expense. The franchisee will not be required to pay a relocation fee for the first relocation request within the initial term or any successor term of the Franchise Agreement. However, Learningrx charges a $250 Relocation Fee for the second relocation request and a $500 Relocation Fee for the third request within the initial or any successor term.

This policy is fairly standard in franchising, as franchisors typically want to ensure that any relocation maintains brand standards and does not negatively impact other franchisees. The relocation fees Learningrx charges for subsequent moves are also common, as they likely offset the franchisor's costs of reviewing and approving the new site.
