What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Learningrx's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee must use the Learningrx marks as the sole identification of the business. However, the franchisee must also identify itself as the independent owner of the business in a manner prescribed by Learningrx. All marks must be displayed as prescribed by Learningrx.
Learningrx retains the sole right to use the marks and market on the Internet, including all use of Websites, domain names, URLs, linking, advertising, and co-branding arrangements. A franchisee may not establish a presence on the Internet except as Learningrx may specify, and only with prior written consent.
A Learningrx franchisee cannot use the marks, or any similar words or symbols, as part of any entity or business name, or in conjunction with official documents, contracts, licenses, or permits. Any reference to the marks in any document must state that the franchisee's use of the marks is limited by the agreement. The franchisee also cannot use the marks in connection with unauthorized services or products, or in any manner not expressly authorized by Learningrx.
These stipulations ensure that Learningrx maintains control over its brand identity and how it is presented to the public, while also allowing franchisees to operate as independent business owners. This is a common practice in franchising, where brand consistency is crucial for maintaining customer recognition and trust.
