What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Learningrx's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, either the franchisee or an on-site manager, both of whom have completed the Learningrx training program, must directly supervise and participate in the day-to-day operations of the Learningrx center. This ensures that someone with proper training and knowledge of the Learningrx system is always present at the center.

Neither the franchisee nor the manager can have any business interests or relationships with Learningrx's competitors. This is a standard requirement in franchising to protect the franchisor's business model and confidential information. If the franchisee is a business entity, the designated manager is not required to own equity in that entity.

However, the designated manager, along with all officers, directors, partners, shareholders, or members of the entity (and immediate family members if the franchisee is an individual), must sign Learningrx's standard Confidentiality and Covenant Not to Compete Agreement. This agreement is designed to further protect Learningrx's interests by preventing individuals associated with the franchise from disclosing confidential information or competing with Learningrx, even after they are no longer affiliated with the franchise. Franchisees must also complete background checks on employees.
