What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Learningrx's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, when a franchisee requests assistance with site selection, Learningrx will analyze a location based on several criteria. These include population density, traffic patterns, and the proximity of the proposed location to any other Learningrx Centers. Learningrx also considers any other reasonable criteria as detailed in Section 10.2 of the FDD.
It is important to note that while Learningrx offers advice and assistance in site selection, the franchisee is ultimately responsible for finding a suitable location and negotiating the lease. Learningrx retains the right to reject any proposed location, although this consent will not be unreasonably withheld. If the franchisee and Learningrx cannot agree on a site, the franchisee must propose two alternative locations for evaluation.
Furthermore, Learningrx's approval for relocation of a center will be based on factors such as population density, income levels, general location guidelines, proximity to other Learningrx Centers, and the time required for relocation. This indicates that Learningrx prioritizes locations that align with their target demographic and market conditions, while also considering the impact of the location on the existing network of Learningrx centers. Franchisees should carefully consider these factors when proposing a location to increase the likelihood of approval and potential success.
