What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Learningrx's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the ability for an Area Developer to renew or extend their agreement is not guaranteed and is at Learningrx's discretion. To be eligible for a renewal or extension, the Area Developer must be in good standing with Learningrx.
Specifically, the Area Developer must not be in default of their obligations under the Area Developer Agreement or any other agreement with Learningrx. Additionally, both Learningrx and the Area Developer must agree in writing to an extension of the Development Schedule.
This means that even if an Area Developer is performing well, Learningrx still has the right to deny a renewal or extension. Conversely, even if the Area Developer wants to renew, Learningrx must also agree to the extension in writing. This highlights the importance of maintaining a strong, compliant relationship with Learningrx and carefully planning the Development Schedule to ensure both parties are aligned on future growth.
