What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Learningrx's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisee is responsible for all expenses incurred during the relocation of their Learningrx center. The franchisor's approval for relocation is contingent upon factors such as population density, income levels, general location guidelines, proximity to other Learningrx centers, and the time required for the relocation.

While Learningrx offers advice and assistance in selecting a site and analyzing locations, the franchisee is ultimately responsible for finding a suitable site and negotiating the lease. The franchisor may reject a proposed location, but such consent will not be unreasonably withheld. If the franchisee and franchisor cannot agree on the site, the franchisee must propose two alternative sites for evaluation.

Notably, Learningrx does not require a relocation fee for the first relocation request within the initial or any successor term of the Franchise Agreement. However, subsequent relocation requests incur fees: $250.00 for the second relocation and $500.00 for the third. These fees are specifically for the franchisor's administrative costs related to the relocation approval process, separate from the actual moving expenses.
