What assistance does Learningrx provide in the development and planning of construction or remodeling?

According to Learningrx's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Learningrx will provide assistance in the development and planning of any construction or remodeling with respect to sign specification and colors and Center layout and design, upon request. However, the franchisee is responsible for paying for all construction or remodeling costs, including compliance and permits. Learningrx's approval of the plans means that the site and plans meet minimum specifications.

Before opening a Learningrx franchise, franchisees must submit information about the proposed location, including lease terms, land acquisition terms, demographic criteria, and preliminary site plans. While site selection is the franchisee's responsibility, Learningrx will assist in the location selection process by considering factors such as population density, income levels, general location guidelines, and the proximity to other Learningrx centers. Learningrx also provides limited advice about the negotiation of the lease or purchase of a location for the business.

It is important to note that Learningrx does not deliver or install equipment, signs, fixtures, opening inventory, or supplies. The franchisee is responsible for purchasing these items from Learningrx's approved or designated suppliers. Franchisees are generally expected to open their Learningrx business within six months after signing the Franchise Agreement, but this timeline can be affected by factors such as obtaining a building or lease, financing, building permits, zoning and local ordinances, and the installation of equipment, fixtures, and signs.
