Answer from 2025 FDD Document

Generally, you may not operate your Business or offer services to any customers outside your Territory, unless you receive our prior written consent to do so. You are not permitted to service Multi-Account Customers, even if they are located in your Territory, without our prior written consent. You are not otherwise limited in the customers to whom you may sell approved products and services in the Territory.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Kitchen Solvers' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees generally cannot operate their business or offer services to customers outside of their designated territory without prior written consent from Kitchen Solvers. This restriction is in place to protect the territorial rights granted to each franchisee.

However, there are a few exceptions. Marketing efforts that are primarily directed towards the franchisee's territory but may incidentally reach outside of it, such as radio, television, or home shows, are permissible, provided that the marketing content has been pre-approved by Kitchen Solvers. Franchisees are also able to operate in Non-Public Access Areas, including within their Territory and Development Area. Non-Public Access Areas include military bases, government institutions, and other areas not accessible to the general public.

Additionally, Kitchen Solvers reserves the right to negotiate agreements with "Multi-Project Customers," defined as those needing 50 or more projects, even if they are located within a franchisee's territory. Kitchen Solvers may offer the franchisee the option to perform work for these customers, but they can also choose to provide the services themselves, through an affiliate, or contract with another franchisee without compensating the original franchisee.

These stipulations highlight the importance of understanding the scope and limitations of the granted territory, as well as the potential for competition from both Kitchen Solvers itself and other franchisees under specific circumstances. A prospective franchisee should seek clarification from Kitchen Solvers regarding the process for obtaining written consent to operate outside their territory and the criteria for participating in Multi-Project Customer programs.
