What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Kitchen Solvers's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Area Development Agreement (ADA) is not subject to renewal or extension. The FDD states that there are no requirements for a Kitchen Solvers franchisee to renew or extend the Area Development Agreement.

This means that the Area Development Agreement with Kitchen Solvers has a fixed term, commencing on the date the ADA is signed and ending on the last Development Deadline of the Mandatory Development Schedule, and cannot be extended beyond its original terms. A franchisee who wishes to continue developing Kitchen Solvers franchises after the ADA term expires would need to negotiate a new agreement with Kitchen Solvers, if Kitchen Solvers is willing.

This is different from the Kitchen Solvers Franchise Agreement, which, if the franchisee satisfies certain renewal requirements, can be renewed for up to two additional 10-year terms. These requirements include being in compliance with the Franchise Agreement, being current with all monetary obligations, attending any necessary training, continuously operating the business, providing notice, maintaining suitable premises, signing a release, and signing the then-current Franchise Agreement.
