What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Kitchen Solvers's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the initial franchise fee includes pre-opening training for up to two people, specifically the franchisee and their approved manager. This means that new Kitchen Solvers franchisees will not have to pay an additional fee for themselves or their manager to attend the initial training program. However, franchisees are responsible for covering all travel and living expenses incurred while attending the training. These expenses are paid directly to third parties, not to Kitchen Solvers.
While the initial franchise fee covers training for two individuals, Kitchen Solvers may charge a fee for any additional people who attend the pre-opening training. Currently, the FDD states that Kitchen Solvers does not charge for additional attendees, but they reserve the right to do so in the future. If additional staff members require training, it's important to clarify with Kitchen Solvers whether any additional fees would apply.
In addition to pre-opening training, Kitchen Solvers also offers on-site training at a rate of $350 per day, plus expenses. This on-site training is separate from the initial pre-opening training and is available upon request. Franchisees should factor in the potential costs of travel, lodging, and meals for any on-site training requested from Kitchen Solvers corporate staff.
