- D. Annual Convention and Other Meetings. You are required to attend, at your expense, the annual Kitchen Solvers convention, and we may require you to pay our then-current registration fee. What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Kitchen Solvers' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Kitchen Solvers is not obligated to hold annual conventions. However, if Kitchen Solvers does hold an annual convention, franchisees are required to attend at their own expense and may be required to pay a registration fee.
If a Kitchen Solvers franchisee fails to attend the annual convention without prior written approval from Kitchen Solvers, they must pay a fee of $850. The FDD also states that Kitchen Solvers strongly recommends that franchisees attend all other conferences, seminars, or meetings that they sponsor to learn about new methods and programs for operation, training, management, sales, or marketing.
If a Kitchen Solvers franchisee is unable to attend any such meeting, they must notify Kitchen Solvers prior to the meeting and attempt to have a substitute person from their business, acceptable to Kitchen Solvers, attend and represent them at the meeting. While attendance at the annual convention is mandatory unless an exception is granted, attendance at other conferences is strongly recommended but not required, providing some flexibility for franchisees.
