What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Kitchen Solvers' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Item 11 provides information regarding pre-opening purchases and lease obligations. Specifically, Kitchen Solvers will provide site selection guidelines and general building and design requirements for a prototypical office or showroom if the franchisee chooses to have a location or showroom outside their home. However, the franchisee is responsible for adapting the standard specifications for the office or showroom to their premises at their own expense. Kitchen Solvers will also furnish a list of approved products and equipment for the business, including installer's equipment, along with any applicable standards and specifications related to such items, but the franchisee is responsible for the delivery and installation of these items.

This means that while Kitchen Solvers offers guidance and resources for setting up a physical location, the franchisee bears the financial responsibility for adapting the showroom to their specific location and for purchasing and installing all necessary equipment and products. This could include costs associated with leasing or purchasing a suitable space, modifying it to meet Kitchen Solvers' standards, and acquiring the required equipment and inventory.

Prospective franchisees should carefully consider these pre-opening expenses and factor them into their overall investment. It would be prudent to inquire with Kitchen Solvers about the typical costs associated with adapting a showroom and purchasing the necessary equipment and products to gain a clearer understanding of the financial commitment involved.
