What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Kitchen Solvers' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Kitchen Solvers does not guarantee that a franchisee will earn as much as some outlets have. The FDD explicitly states that while some outlets have achieved certain earnings, individual results may vary, and there is no assurance that a new franchisee will achieve the same level of success. This is a standard disclaimer in franchise agreements, as financial performance can be influenced by various factors, including location, management skills, local market conditions, and the franchisee's efforts.
Kitchen Solvers emphasizes the importance of developing a comprehensive business plan tailored to the franchisee's specific circumstances. This plan should include capital budgets, financial statements, projections, and pro forma financial statements. Kitchen Solvers encourages prospective franchisees to seek guidance from accounting, business, and legal advisors to assist in preparing their business plan. This proactive approach aims to ensure that franchisees have a realistic understanding of the potential financial outcomes and are well-prepared for the challenges of operating a Kitchen Solvers franchise.
The FDD also clarifies that the financial performance information provided does not reflect all operating expenses, such as royalty fees and marketing expenses, which must be deducted to determine net income or profit. Therefore, it is crucial for prospective franchisees to conduct an independent investigation of all costs and expenses associated with operating a Kitchen Solvers business. The FDD suggests that franchisees or former franchisees listed in Exhibit D of the disclosure document may be a valuable source of this information. This due diligence is essential for making an informed decision about investing in a Kitchen Solvers franchise.
Kitchen Solvers explicitly states that they do not make any financial performance representations other than those included in Item 19 of the FDD. Furthermore, Kitchen Solvers does not authorize its employees or representatives to make any financial performance representations, either orally or in writing. If a prospective franchisee receives any other financial performance information or projections, they are advised to report it to Kitchen Solvers' management, the Federal Trade Commission, and the appropriate state regulatory agencies. This measure is in place to protect potential franchisees from misleading or unsubstantiated claims.
