What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Kitchen Solvers's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee who is granted the right to open multiple businesses within a specific geographic area must adhere to the terms and conditions outlined in the agreement. The franchisee must also comply with Kitchen Solvers' System Standards and Specifications, which may change over time. These standards cover various aspects of the system, including operating procedures, products and services, supplier qualifications, training, and marketing.
Furthermore, if a Kitchen Solvers franchisee qualifies to service a Multi-Project Customer and is offered the option to perform such work, they will be required to comply with designated standards, specifications, and procedures. They may also be required to enter into Kitchen Solvers' then-current form of Multi-Project Customer Participation Agreement. Kitchen Solvers retains the right to set and modify the parameters for any Multi-Project Customer program, including the right to terminate a franchisee's participation in the program at any time.
In certain states like Illinois and New York, addenda to the franchise agreement may apply, modifying or superseding certain provisions to comply with state franchise laws. For example, the Illinois Attorney General's Office may require Kitchen Solvers to defer the collection of initial franchise fees and/or development fees until pre-opening obligations are met and the franchisee has commenced business operations. Franchisees should carefully review any state-specific addenda to understand how they modify the standard franchise agreement.
