What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Kitchen Solvers' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee cannot create any obligations on behalf of the franchisor. The agreement explicitly states that franchisees cannot create or attempt to create any obligation for Kitchen Solvers. Additionally, franchisees are prohibited from agreeing to any terms, conditions, or covenants that are inconsistent with the franchise agreement.

This provision protects Kitchen Solvers from unauthorized commitments or liabilities made by its franchisees. It ensures that Kitchen Solvers maintains control over its brand and business operations, preventing franchisees from acting beyond the scope of their authorized activities. This is a fairly standard clause in franchise agreements, designed to clearly define the boundaries of authority between the franchisor and franchisee.

For a prospective Kitchen Solvers franchisee, this means understanding the limits of their authority and ensuring all agreements and business practices align with the franchise agreement. Any deviation could potentially lead to a breach of contract. Franchisees must operate within the defined framework and avoid making any representations or promises that Kitchen Solvers has not explicitly authorized.
