What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Kitchen Solvers' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, most fees are uniformly imposed. Specifically, Item 6, Note 1 states that "Except where otherwise noted, all fees are payable to us, are uniformly imposed and are not refundable." This indicates that Kitchen Solvers applies the same fee structure to all franchisees, unless explicitly stated otherwise.
However, there are some exceptions to this uniform imposition. For example, Kitchen Solvers offers a discount on the Royalty Fee for honorably discharged U.S. military veterans participating in the International Franchise Association's Vet-Fran Program. They receive a 50% discount off the Royalty Fee for the first 6 months of operations. Also, the amount of the monthly Royalty Fee varies based on gross monthly sales as shown in Table 2. The audit fee can vary from $500 to $2,000 depending on the circumstances.
Prospective franchisees should carefully review Item 6 and related notes in the FDD to understand which fees are uniformly imposed and which may vary based on individual circumstances. Understanding these nuances is crucial for accurate financial planning and assessing the overall cost of investing in a Kitchen Solvers franchise.
