What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Kitchen Solvers Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee has the option to renew their license for up to two additional terms of ten years each. To be eligible for each renewal, the franchisee must operate the business in accordance with the terms of the franchise agreement for the duration of the term.

Item 22 of the FDD outlines several key compliance requirements for Kitchen Solvers franchisees. These include technology compliance, where franchisees must participate in Kitchen Solvers' website and intranet system at their own expense. Franchisees must also fully participate in any designated, sponsored, and approved loyalty benefit programs established by Kitchen Solvers. Franchisees are also required to adopt and use the required standards, procedures, techniques, and systems described in the Kitchen Solvers Business System Online Manual, which may be revised periodically.

Additional compliance requirements include maintaining the Kitchen Solvers location, if outside of the franchisee's home, according to Kitchen Solvers' standards and schedules. Franchisees must also spend a specified percentage of their gross sales on local and digital marketing, currently set at 5% annually, and use only approved marketing materials. Furthermore, franchisees must promptly disclose any innovations related to the Kitchen Solvers business to the franchisor, as these innovations become the sole property of Kitchen Solvers. Franchisees must also provide up-to-date customer information and copies of customer invoices through Kitchen Solvers' designated software system and allow Kitchen Solvers to contact customers to assess work quality and satisfaction.

Failure to comply with these requirements could impact a franchisee's eligibility for renewal. Prospective franchisees should carefully review Item 22 of the FDD and discuss any concerns with Kitchen Solvers before signing the franchise agreement.
