What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Kitchen Solvers's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Kitchen Solvers claims common law trademark rights for all of its Marks. The Marks include the service mark KITCHEN SOLVERS, as well as other trademarks, service marks, trade names and commercial symbols that Kitchen Solvers designates. Kitchen Solvers has filed or intends to file all required affidavits and renewals for the listed Marks.

Kitchen Solvers retains the right to change the Marks at any time during the Franchise Agreement, and franchisees must comply with these changes at their own expense. Franchisees gain no rights to the Marks and any associated goodwill, either during the term of the agreement or upon its expiration or termination. Franchisees are not allowed to make any changes or substitutions to the Marks unless Kitchen Solvers directs them to do so in writing.

Kitchen Solvers acquired the rights and ownership in the Marks from Kitchen Solvers, LLC on December 1, 2010. Franchisees must promptly notify Kitchen Solvers of any infringement or unauthorized use of the Marks. If Kitchen Solvers determines that a trademark infringement action requires changes or substitutions to the Marks, the franchisee must make these changes at their own expense. However, in the limited circumstance that a franchisee must change the Trademarks in response to a third-party claim, Kitchen Solvers will reimburse the franchisee for any new signage that Kitchen Solvers determines is necessary, provided the franchisee has cooperated with any action Kitchen Solvers undertakes with regard to the third party claim.
