What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Kitchen Solvers' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must submit all marketing materials, including print and electronic media, to Kitchen Solvers for approval. Kitchen Solvers will assess these materials based on specific criteria.
Kitchen Solvers will not unreasonably withhold approval if the marketing materials meet certain standards. These standards include being factually accurate and current, maintaining a dignified and professional appearance, and accurately representing the Kitchen Solvers Marks. This ensures that all marketing efforts align with the brand's established image and values.
If Kitchen Solvers does not respond to a franchisee's submission within 10 business days, the marketing materials are considered approved. However, Kitchen Solvers retains the right to revoke approval of previously approved materials by providing notice to the franchisee. This allows Kitchen Solvers to maintain control over brand messaging and ensure consistent quality in all marketing efforts.
In addition to these requirements, franchisees should be aware of the minimum spending requirements for local marketing and advertising, which include $3,000 during the initial 3-month opening period and at least 5% of expected annual gross sales each month thereafter. Franchisees must also provide copies of invoices and receipts to Kitchen Solvers as evidence of their local marketing activities upon request.
