What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Kidokinetics's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must ensure that all employees wear uniforms or clothes that conform to the franchisor's specifications regarding style, color, and design. These specifications are subject to change as reasonably designated by Kidokinetics to maintain the goodwill and reputation of the brand, the system, and its marks.

In addition to uniform requirements, Kidokinetics franchisees must employ qualified individuals trained according to the franchisor's standards. These employees must conduct themselves competently and courteously, aligning with the brand's image and reputation. Franchisees are also expected to ensure their employees maintain a neat and clean appearance while providing competent and courteous service to customers.

Failure to meet these standards, such as having poorly trained employees or employees with a sloppy appearance, can significantly damage the goodwill of the Kidokinetics system and its marks. Such failures are considered a default of the franchise agreement, highlighting the importance of adhering to the franchisor's guidelines for employee appearance and conduct.
