(d) Limited Right to Copy. Franchisee may not grant access, copy or allow copies of the KIDOLINK Software or any other proprietary information to be made, except to the extent necessary to exercise the use granted hereby and for back-up and archival purposes.
(e) No Reverse Engineering or Modifications. Franchisee agrees not to reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the KIDOLINK Software or any part of the KIDOLINK Software, nor will Franchisee change, modify or create derivative works from the KIDOLINK Software.

According to Kidokinetics's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee's right to copy the KIDOLINK Software is limited. Kidokinetics grants franchisees a personal, limited, non-assignable, non-transferable, and non-exclusive license to use the KIDOLINK Software during the term of the Franchise Agreement.
The Kidokinetics franchisee is generally prohibited from granting access to, copying, or allowing copies of the KIDOLINK Software or any other proprietary information. However, there is an exception: a franchisee may make copies to the extent necessary to exercise the use granted by the franchise agreement and for back-up and archival purposes.
Upon termination of the KIDOLINK Software license, the franchisee must promptly return or dispose of all physical copies of the KIDOLINK Software and its associated documentation as instructed by Kidokinetics. The franchisee must also remove all copies from their computers and other electronic storage media and provide written certification of compliance upon request.
