What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Kidokinetics's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, a Covenantor can disclose Confidential Information to employees or agents only to the extent necessary for training and assisting such employees and in the operation of the Kidokinetics business. This disclosure is limited to those who need the information to perform their duties within the Kidokinetics franchise.

This condition ensures that access to sensitive business information is restricted to individuals who require it for legitimate business purposes, preventing unauthorized dissemination. The Covenantor must also surrender any material containing Confidential Information upon request or termination of employment or association with the Kidokinetics Business.

This policy is typical in franchising, where protecting trade secrets and operational methods is crucial for maintaining brand consistency and competitive advantage. Prospective Kidokinetics franchisees should understand these restrictions and ensure their employees and agents also adhere to these confidentiality requirements to avoid potential legal issues.
