What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Kidokinetics's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees may be required to submit Gross Sales Reports electronically. Currently, the required management software for electronic data transfer is Kidolink. However, Kidokinetics retains the discretion to require franchisees to use any other software in the future for operating the Kidokinetics business.
Kidokinetics also mandates that franchisees maintain adequate hardware and software to access the internet at a speed specified by the franchisor. Franchisees must maintain an electronic mail account with an internet service provider acceptable to Kidokinetics and read all emails related to the Kidokinetics business daily, acknowledging receipt of emails sent by the franchisor.
Franchisees are also required to participate in any system-wide computer network, intranet, or extranet system that Kidokinetics implements. This participation may include submitting reports online, viewing and printing the Franchise Operations Manual, downloading approved local advertising materials, communicating with Kidokinetics and other franchisees, and completing training. Franchisees must use these systems in compliance with the standards and restrictions outlined in the Franchise Operations Manual, including those related to data encryption and prohibitions against libelous or defamatory statements.
