What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Kidokinetics's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are not limited to using only registered trademarks. The Franchise Agreement grants franchisees the right to use the Kidokinetics System, which includes registered trademarks, and also allows the use of other future trademarks, service marks, and logos that Kidokinetics approves.
This means that as a Kidokinetics franchisee, you'll be able to use not only the established trademarks but also any new trademarks or logos that Kidokinetics introduces and approves for use within the franchise system. This provides flexibility and ensures that franchisees can stay current with any branding updates or changes implemented by Kidokinetics.
Kidokinetics retains the right to modify or discontinue the use of any mark, and franchisees are obligated to comply with these changes within 30 days of notice. However, Kidokinetics will not reimburse franchisees for expenses related to changing signage or any losses incurred due to modified or discontinued marks. While franchisees must comply with Kidokinetics's directions regarding trademark usage, the ability to use future approved trademarks offers an advantage in keeping the Kidokinetics business aligned with the brand's evolving identity.
