Does Kidokinetics maintain and amend a list of approved suppliers for franchisees?

According to Kidokinetics's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Kidokinetics will maintain and amend a list of approved suppliers and manufacturers of supplies, equipment, and vehicles for franchisees within the Kidokinetics system.

This means that as a franchisee, you are generally required to purchase supplies, equipment, and vehicles from Kidokinetics's approved suppliers. This helps ensure consistency and quality across all Kidokinetics franchise locations. However, franchisees must obtain equipment, vehicles, products, supplies, business forms, signs, stationery, and services that conform to the current standards and specifications for the Kidokinetics system as required by Kidokinetics and obtained from Kidokinetics's previously approved suppliers.

Kidokinetics retains the right to inspect the facilities and products of any approved supplier and can revoke approval if the supplier fails to meet Kidokinetics's standards. While franchisees are generally required to use approved suppliers, the document does state that Kidokinetics is not required to approve any particular supplier. If a franchisee wants to use a different supplier, they can propose it to Kidokinetics, who will then notify the franchisee of their decision within 60 calendar days after receiving all the necessary information to evaluate the product or service. Kidokinetics also reserves the right to charge the franchisee for the costs of evaluating a proposed supplier or product.

Franchisees must cure all existing defaults under this Agreement, or any other agreement between Franchisee and Franchisor, Franchisor's affiliates, Franchisor's designated/approved suppliers and vendors, within the period permitted for cure and have substantially complied with such agreements during their respective terms.
