What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Kidokinetics's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, prior to the opening date of their business, a franchisee must complete several preparations. These include purchasing all required supplies, equipment, and vehicles according to the Kidokinetics System requirements. The franchisee must also satisfactorily complete Kidokinetics's Initial Management Training Program. Finally, the franchisee needs to hire the staff positions required by Kidokinetics.
In addition to these preparations, the franchisee must provide a written list of supplies, equipment, vehicles, signage, and products that will be required to open the Kidokinetics Business for business. This list ensures that the franchisee has a clear understanding of the necessary resources and allows Kidokinetics to verify that the franchisee is adequately prepared to launch the business.
Kidokinetics retains the right to prohibit a franchisee from opening for business if the franchisee fails to comply with these obligations. Failure to open the Kidokinetics Business and commence business accordingly will be considered an event of default under the Franchise Agreement. These requirements are in place to ensure consistency and quality across all Kidokinetics franchise locations and to protect the brand's reputation.
