In Indiana, will Kidokinetics accept rebates from persons with whom the franchisee does business?

Item 8 of the FDD is amended to add the following:
Under Indiana Code Section 23-2-2.7-1(4), we will not accept any rebates from any person with whom you do business or associate in relation to transactions between you and the other person, other than for compensation for services rendered by us, unless the rebate is properly accounted for and submitted to you.

What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Kidokinetics's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Item 8 of the FDD is amended for franchisees in Indiana. Kidokinetics will not accept any rebates from any person with whom a franchisee does business or associates with in relation to transactions between the franchisee and that person.
However, there is an exception to this rule. Kidokinetics can accept rebates if they are compensation for services rendered by Kidokinetics to the franchisee.
Even when Kidokinetics receives a permissible rebate, they must properly account for it and submit it to the franchisee. This ensures transparency and prevents Kidokinetics from profiting unfairly from the franchisee's business relationships.
