What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Kidokinetics's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisee is responsible for all incidental expenses incurred during additional training or attendance at the national business meeting or annual convention. These expenses include, but are not limited to, travel, lodging, meals, and wages for the franchisee or their personnel.
Kidokinetics may offer mandatory or optional additional training programs, and if required, the franchisee, their principals, and manager must participate in refresher training for up to five days per year at a location designated by Kidokinetics. Kidokinetics also reserves the right to charge a training fee, which is currently $500 per person per day. Additionally, Kidokinetics may require the franchisee to attend a national business meeting or annual convention for up to three days per year and may require the franchisee to pay a registration fee, regardless of whether they attend.
Furthermore, if the franchisee requests on-site additional training and assistance, they will be required to pay a per diem fee, currently set at $500, plus the costs of travel, lodging, and meals for the trained representatives providing the training. This per diem fee may be adjusted or waived at Kidokinetics's discretion, but it is payable in advance and is non-refundable. Failure to attend or complete mandatory additional training or the national business meeting or annual convention can result in a default of the Franchise Agreement.
