What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Kidokinetics's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee may relocate their Kidokinetics business to a new location within their designated territory. However, this is contingent upon receiving prior written consent from Kidokinetics, which, according to the FDD, will not be unreasonably withheld.

The relocation process is subject to the provisions outlined in the Franchise Agreement concerning relocation, as well as Kidokinetics's then-current site selection policies and procedures. It is important to note that any expenses incurred during the relocation process are the sole responsibility of the franchisee.

Given that the Kidokinetics business is mobile and can operate from a home-based office, relocation primarily concerns the office space, if any, rather than a fixed retail location. The FDD specifies that if a franchisee chooses to rent commercial office space, it must be located within their territory and requires Kidokinetics's acceptance. This acceptance process likely involves ensuring the new location aligns with Kidokinetics's brand image and operational requirements. Prospective franchisees should carefully review the Franchise Agreement and site selection policies to understand the specific criteria and procedures for relocation approval.
