What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Kidokinetics's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee must operate their Kidokinetics business from an office located within their designated territory. The FDD states that a franchisee can use a home office if it is suitable.
Kidokinetics does not provide site selection assistance. If a franchisee chooses to operate from a location other than a home office, that location must be within the territory. The franchisee must provide a copy of the lease for the location and obtain written acceptance from Kidokinetics. Kidokinetics will notify the franchisee in writing of their approval decision within 10 days of receiving the request. If Kidokinetics and the franchisee cannot agree on an office location within the territory, Kidokinetics can terminate the Franchise Agreement.
The franchisee is responsible for ensuring that the premises allow them to operate their Kidokinetics business according to the standards and specifications set forth in the Franchise Operations Manual, comply with local ordinances and building codes, and obtain any required permits.
