What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Kidokinetics's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, if Kidokinetics schedules a national business meeting or convention, franchisees must attend. Attendance requires franchisees to pay a registration fee per attendee, the amount of which Kidokinetics will designate. Franchisees are also responsible for covering their own expenses for transportation, lodging, meals, and other costs associated with attending the meeting or convention.
This means that as a Kidokinetics franchisee, you should budget for these potential costs. The registration fee is determined by Kidokinetics, so it is important to inquire about the typical range of these fees to plan accordingly. The frequency and location of these meetings are also determined by Kidokinetics, which can impact your overall expenses.
While the FDD specifies that attendance is mandatory, it does not provide an estimate for the registration fee. Therefore, a prospective franchisee should ask Kidokinetics about the typical registration fees charged for the national business meeting or convention to better understand the potential financial obligations.
