What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Kidokinetics's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, a prospective franchisee must sign the standard franchise agreement to operate a Kidokinetics business. The document specifies that this agreement, referred to as the "Franchise Agreement," is attached to the Franchise Disclosure Document as Exhibit B.
This agreement outlines the terms and conditions under which the franchisee is authorized to operate a Kidokinetics business. It likely covers various aspects such as the use of Kidokinetics's operating system, which includes recognizable design, décor color scheme, uniform standards, specifications, rules and procedures of operation, techniques, philosophies, quality and uniformity of products and services offered. The Franchise Agreement also likely details the franchisee's obligations, the franchisor's support, fees, and the duration and terms of renewal or termination of the franchise.
Kidokinetics also allows franchisees to purchase up to four franchises concurrently, with each franchise requiring a separate Franchise Agreement and granting the franchisee one territory. This means that a franchisee who chooses to purchase multiple franchises will sign separate agreements for each Kidokinetics business at the time of purchase. Prospective franchisees should carefully review Exhibit B of the FDD to fully understand their rights and obligations under the Franchise Agreement before signing.
