What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Kidokinetics's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, 'Accounts' are defined as establishments such as schools, parks, community centers, summer camps, hotels, gyms, health centers, and similar places that contract for Kidokinetics services. The location where these services are provided must be within the franchisee's designated territory.
Kidokinetics businesses are primarily home-based. If a franchisee wishes to operate from a physical location outside of their home, they must obtain approval from Kidokinetics. This location must be within the franchisee's designated territory. Additionally, the franchisee must submit a copy of the lease to Kidokinetics before signing it.
This means that while franchisees can operate from home, they have the option to lease a separate business location with Kidokinetics's approval. However, all services must be provided within the franchisee's assigned territory, regardless of whether the business is home-based or operates from a separate approved location. This ensures that franchisees focus their efforts within their designated area and do not encroach on other franchisees' territories.
