What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Kidokinetics's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the additional training fee is currently $500 per person per day of training. This fee applies if Kidokinetics requires the franchisee, their principals, or their manager to participate in refresher training, which can last up to five days per year. The training location will be designated by Kidokinetics.
Kidokinetics may also require franchisees to attend a national business meeting or annual convention for up to three days per year. A registration fee may be required for these events, regardless of whether the franchisee attends. Franchisees are responsible for all incidental expenses, including travel, lodging, meals, and wages, related to additional training or attendance at meetings and conventions.
Failure to attend and complete mandatory additional training or to attend the national business meeting or annual convention can result in a default of the franchise agreement. This highlights the importance of budgeting for these potential training and meeting costs and ensuring compliance with Kidokinetics's requirements.
