What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Kidokinetics's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees may need to attend additional training programs. If Kidokinetics requires a franchisee to attend mandatory additional training, the franchisee must pay the then-current additional training fees, which are currently $500 per person per day. The franchisee is also responsible for covering their own travel, transportation, lodging, meals, and other related expenses to attend these mandatory training programs.

Kidokinetics also offers remedial on-site training and assistance at the franchisee's location upon request or if Kidokinetics determines it necessary. If a franchisee requests on-site remedial training, Kidokinetics may charge a per diem fee, which is currently $500 per person per day for the services of their trainer. In addition to the per diem fee, the franchisee is responsible for covering all travel-related expenses of the trainer, including transportation, meals, and lodging.

Furthermore, franchisees may also request additional training, either at the Kidokinetics corporate headquarters or at their own Kidokinetics Business location. In these cases, the franchisee must pay Kidokinetics $500 per attendee per day for the additional training. The franchisee is also responsible for covering the costs of airfare, meals, transportation, lodging, and incidental expenses for all of their training program attendees. If the training program is conducted at the franchisee's Kidokinetics Business, they must reimburse Kidokinetics for the expenses incurred in providing the training.
