What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Kidokinetics' 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Kidokinetics does not charge a fee for the initial training program. The initial training program is mandatory for the Manager, and it is also available for up to one additional assistant.
However, while the training itself is free, the franchisee is responsible for covering all travel costs and living expenses for themselves and any attendees they send to the training. If a franchisee replaces their designated manager, they may be charged fees for the additional training of the new manager.
Kidokinetics also offers additional training courses, some of which may be mandatory, and remedial on-site training. There is a fee of $500 per attendee per day for additional training. If Kidokinetics determines that a franchisee is not operating in compliance with the Franchise Agreement or Operations Manual, they may require remedial training for the franchisee or their employees. If the remedial training is conducted at the franchisee's location, the franchisee must reimburse Kidokinetics for the expenses incurred in providing the training.
