Is the Kidokinetics business model considered seasonal?
Kidokinetics Franchise · 2024 FDDAnswer from 2024 FDD Document
Our concept is targeted at young children. Our services are not seasonal in nature. The child sports and fitness industry is competitive and well developed. As a franchisee, you will compete with a variety of other businesses, including those that offer exercise programs to young children. Your competition may be local, independent businesses or may be part of a regional or national chain or franchise. You may also encounter competition from other Kidokinetics Businesses operated by us, our affiliates or other franchisees. Demand for the services you offer may be dependent on the local and national economic conditions' effect on the public's discretionary spending.

What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Kidokinetics's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Kidokinetics business model is not considered seasonal in nature. The FDD states that the Kidokinetics concept is targeted at young children, and their services are not seasonal.
This suggests that demand for Kidokinetics' services remains relatively consistent throughout the year, which could provide a more stable revenue stream for franchisees compared to businesses that experience significant seasonal fluctuations. However, the FDD also notes that demand may be dependent on local and national economic conditions' effect on the public's discretionary spending.
While Kidokinetics aims to provide year-round services, prospective franchisees should still consider how local factors, such as school schedules, weather conditions, and community events, might influence demand in their specific territory. It would be prudent to research local market conditions and speak with existing franchisees to gain a better understanding of any potential seasonal trends or variations in demand.
