What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Kidokinetics's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, additional training programs can be either mandatory or optional. Kidokinetics will offer these programs at their discretion. If Kidokinetics requires a franchisee to attend mandatory additional training, the franchisee must attend for up to 5 days each year at a location Kidokinetics designates.

The franchisee is responsible for paying Kidokinetics's then-current additional training fees, which are currently $500 per person per day. In addition to the training fees, the franchisee must cover their own travel, transportation, lodging, meals, and other expenses to attend any mandatory training program.

Kidokinetics may also require franchisees, their owners, managers, and other employees to attend system-wide refresher or additional training courses, some of which may be optional, while others may be required. If a new principal owner is appointed, ownership is transferred, or a new manager is hired, that person must attend and successfully complete the initial training program. If Kidokinetics determines that a franchisee is not operating in compliance with the Franchise Agreement, they may require remedial training for the franchisee, their operating principal, manager, and other employees to address operational deficiencies.
